Job Description:

Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager to join the international audit team of a top 10 UK professional services firm. This is a rare opportunity for a motivated audit professional to step into a globally focused role that offers project variety, cross-border collaboration, and structured career progression. This industry-agnostic international audit team specialises in delivering fully coordinated, centralised audit services to multinational organisations. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm’s global network to design efficient audit strategies, manage overseas coordination, and help ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant audits. Some international travel may be required, making this a perfect fit for candidates looking to expand their global exposure and experience.

Job Responsibility:

Support the planning and delivery of international audit engagements
Coordinate audit input from BDO member firms around the world
Review financial controls and assess audit risk in key areas
Contribute to designing and executing tailored audit strategies
Supervise and coach junior staff across multi-jurisdictional audits
Ensure compliance with relevant audit and accounting standards (ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP)
Assist with group audit requirements, including compliance with ISA 600

Requirements:

ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualification (or equivalent)
Prior experience working within audit at a professional services firm
Familiarity with risk assessment, internal control testing, and substantive procedures
Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with overseas teams and clients
A proactive mindset and the ability to manage your time effectively
