Job Responsibility

  • Providing fully coordinated secondary audit services to multinationals
  • Working closely with BDO Member Firms from around the world
  • Leveraging controls present at finance service centre locations to design high quality and highly efficient global audit strategies
  • Providing a fully project managed and centralised global audit offering to audited entities

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff
  • Working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Experience reviewing systems and control environments, as well as undertaking risk assessment and substantive testing on key risk areas
  • Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends

Nice to have

  • Sector experience appropriate to BDO audited entities
  • Experience auditing international groups and coordinating engagements that operate cross border
  • Experience designing audit strategies based on a combination of substantive and controls-based audit strategies
  • Experience in conducting Group audits under ISA 600

  • Oversee preparation and review of audit reports, exception summaries, and monthly financial analytics
  • Ensure strict adherence to the National Indian Gaming Commission’s Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS)
  • Review Title 31 and federal tax reporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all schedules safety meetings and training
