Job Responsibility:
Assisting with the planning and delivery of external audits for a range of clients under the supervision of senior colleagues
Supporting preparation of financial statements in compliance with UK accounting standards and company law
Undertaking testing procedures and documenting results to support audit opinions
Carrying out bookkeeping and financial analysis under guidance
Working with our experienced team on client queries and helping to offer tailored solutions
Building your knowledge of relevant accounting systems and software used within the firm
Embracing opportunities to work as part of project teams on ad hoc assignments
Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all work, adhering to company processes and quality standards
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 9-4 or A*-C) including Maths and English, and ideally A-Levels or equivalent
Genuine desire to pursue a career in audit, accounts, and finance with a focus on progressing through professional qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and data
Confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and build relationships with clients
Ability to manage‐time effectively and meet deadlines across multiple assignments
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive, flexible approach
Nice to have:
Any experience with accounting software is advantageous but not essential
