Job Responsibility:
End-to-end completion of statutory audit assignments
Planning audits, identifying key risks and agreeing audit approach
Leading audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing the work of trainees
Completing and concluding on audit fieldwork
Involvement in group audits, including preparation of consolidations
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
Preparing corporation tax returns
Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management information
Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice
Strong statutory audit experience
Comfortable leading audits and managing assignments independently
Some exposure to accounts preparation, ideally being confident in preparing accounts
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Someone seeking a stable senior role with flexibility rather than immediate progression
