A leading Sutton Coldfield accountancy practice is recruiting for an experienced Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This is a superb opportunity for an ACA or ACCA finalist (or nearly qualified accountant) looking for a public practice job in Sutton Coldfield offering a genuine career path, high-quality audit clients and excellent progression.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting and completing statutory audit assignments
  • Assisting with audit planning, fieldwork and file completion
  • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies and groups
  • Producing working papers and supporting audit completion meetings
  • Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
  • Supporting junior team members and managing workload effectively

Requirements

  • Audit Semi Senior or Accounts Semi Senior working in a UK accountancy practice
  • ACA / ACCA finalist, nearly qualified, or recently qualified
  • Strong audit and accounts experience in public practice
  • Confident preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit fieldwork
  • Personable, organised and able to take ownership of work
  • Ambitious and keen to progress long-term
