Job Description

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: Key Responsibilities: Performing and/or reviewing of audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon-procedures; Manage all aspects of an engagement from start to finish, including client contact, staff supervision, job completion; Planning the engagement, performing and/or reviewing of fieldwork, preparation of full disclosure financial statements and required reports for management and regulating agencies, performing other non-audit accounting services; Provide timely performance feedback on projects; Mentor and training of professional staff. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 150 NYS qualifying hours; Minimum 4+ years’ experience in public accounting; CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license; Strong technical skills in GAAP, GAAS and statistical analysis ratios; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to manage multiple projects/task on a timely basis while monitoring time spent; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proficient knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
