A long-established accountancy practice in Loughborough is looking to appoint an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to support a growing portfolio of audit and accounts clients. This role offers a balanced mix of external audit and accounts preparation, making it ideal for an Audit Senior or Accounts Senior who enjoys variety and wants continued development within public practice. You’ll work closely with Managers and Partners, gain exposure to a broad client base and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality work.
Job Responsibility:
Leading and assisting on external audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies
Supporting audits for SMEs, charities and group structures
Supervising and supporting junior team members on audits and accounts work
Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and to agreed deadlines
Maintaining high technical and compliance standards
Supporting Managers and Partners with workflow and client delivery
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
Background in external audit and statutory accounts
Confident working with limited companies and SMEs
Enjoy working directly with clients
Organised, reliable and deadline focused
Keen to continue developing within public practice
