Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with and completing audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Preparing and finalising statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
  • Supporting audit file preparation, testing and completion work
  • Assisting with audit fieldwork and drafting audit findings
  • Working with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients
  • Developing strong client relationships and building commercial awareness
  • Supporting senior staff with more complex audit and accounts engagements

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a UK accountancy practice
  • Audit experience (or strong accounts experience with an interest in audit)
  • Confidence preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit assignments
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach with clients
  • A motivated and career-focused mindset
  • ACA part-qualified
