Job Responsibility:

Become familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures
Understand the rules, regulations and code of conduct of the AICPA
Progress professionally by working towards passing the CPA exam
When assigned to financial statement engagements: Become familiar with FASB and AICPA pronouncements
Become proficient at preparing financial statements
Obtain exposure on the types of financial statement engagements offered by the firm
Assume responsibility for completion of compilations and review of financial statements
Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with professional and firm standards under supervision
Communicate with clients and firm personnel in a timely and professional manner
Flexibility to assist the Tax Department as needed during Tax season

Requirements:

Accounting majors completing degree by December 2024 or May 2025 with minimum 3.0 GPA
Candidates with 150 credit hours at graduation preferred
Candidates interested in studying/preparing for CPA exam preferred
Degree in Accounting preferred
Master’s of Science Degree in Accounting is a plus
Strong compliance and accounting skills
Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills
Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-energy environment
Leadership ability with a positive team player attitude
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Nice to have:

Master’s of Science Degree in Accounting
Candidates with 150 credit hours at graduation
Candidates interested in studying/preparing for CPA exam
