Job Description:

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for an Audiologist to join their team of staff in the Nursing department. This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct a full range of audiological assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, speech testing, acoustic reflexes, and otoacoustic emissions
  • Perform hearing aid evaluations and fittings based on audiological profiles and patient needs
  • Assist in balance and vestibular testing, where appropriately trained
  • Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids or assistive listening devices using Real Ear Measurements and patient feedback
  • Provide counselling and education to patients and families on hearing loss, device usage, communication strategies, and ongoing hearing management
  • Monitor patient progress and carry out follow-ups, reprogramming, and repairs of hearing devices as required

Requirements:

  • BSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalent qualification approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • HCPC or RCCP registration as an Audiologist (or working towards registration)
  • Clinical experience in audiological assessment, hearing aid fitting, and hearing rehabilitation
  • Proven experience in audio-vestibular test
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients of all ages
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Competence with audiological software, equipment, and digital hearing aid systems
