Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5 Audiologist to join our friendly and supportive team. This fixed-term role offers the chance to undertake specialist training within the department, along with access to funded CPD to support your ongoing professional development. As a key member of our Audiology service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive care to patients while working within a collaborative and experienced team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work as an independent practitioner without supervision, providing routine clinical services
  • Initial management of more complex patients if they present in routine clinics
  • Assisting in complex clinics (e.g. paediatric assessment, vestibular assessment)
  • Maintain a good level of expertise in routine testing and rehabilitation methods
  • Act as a point of contact for more junior members of the team
  • Transporting expensive equipment, stock to outstations

Requirements:

  • BSc Audiology or equivalent
  • Professional registration with AHCS as a Health Care Science Practitioner or RCCP as an Audiologist

Nice to have:

  • Experience of Auditbase
  • Experience of Oticon Hearing aids
