Audiologist

• Perform comprehensive audiological assessments including: Pure tone audiometry (air and bone conduction)
• Tympanometry
• Audiograms
• Appropriate masking techniques
• Ensure timely referrals to ENT Doctors for further assessment or secondary care where clinically appropriate
• Maintain professional communication with referrers to support collaborative care
• Adhere to clinical governance protocols including incident reporting and significant event analysis
• Collaborate with local ENT and audiology services to support seamless patient pathways
• Work in line with the service specifications for community ENT contracts

• Previous experience working as an Audiologist in an NHS or similar clinical setting
• Competency in audiological assessments and interpretation of results
• Knowledge of ENT referral pathways and NHS clinical protocols
• Proficiency in the use of audiology diagnostic equipment and patient record systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
• Degree in Audiology or equivalent
• HCPC registration

Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., BAA) is desirable
