General Summary Boston Children’s Audiology Department is looking for an Audiologist II to join a team of more than 30 audiologists who specialize in caring for children with hearing loss and hearing differences. This role will involve working across multiple sites and collaborating with various teams, including research

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct pediatric audiological assessments and provide diagnosis
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members within the program
  • Consult with physicians and allied health clinicians
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in pediatric balance and vestibular testing (training provided)
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn additional skills in vestibular assessment over time

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology or Hearing Science from an accredited program
  • Minimum 4 years pediatric audiology experience required
  • Knowledge of pediatric audiologic disorders (e.g., otitis media, Eustachian tube dysfunction, genetic hearing loss)
  • CCC-A (ASHA) or Pediatric Audiology Certification (American Board of Audiology)
  • Massachusetts Audiology license required (out-of-state candidates must obtain within 45 days)
