Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to support onsite meetings, live events, and day-to-day AV operations in Costa Mesa, California. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on AV experience who can manage event setup and teardown, provide live meeting support, and operate key audio, video, and camera systems with minimal supervision. The right candidate should be comfortable working independently at times, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and stepping in to help run high-visibility all-hands meetings and other internal events.

Job Responsibility

  • Set up, test, operate, and tear down audio visual equipment for meetings, presentations, and events
  • Provide live support for all-hands meetings and other company events, including video switching, audio mixing, and camera operation
  • Operate and support Panasonic cameras, vMix for video switching, and Behringer/Midas sound boards
  • Support and troubleshoot Q-SYS AV systems and related conferencing or control technologies
  • Monitor audio and video quality during live events and quickly resolve technical issues
  • Assist with camera support, microphone setup, signal routing, and general AV readiness
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure meetings and events run smoothly and on schedule
  • Maintain AV equipment, keep systems organized, and ensure rooms are properly reset after use
  • Work with limited guidance when needed while remaining collaborative with the broader team

Requirements

  • Strong experience with audio/visual setup and teardown for meetings and events
  • Hands-on experience with audio/sound mixing
  • Experience providing camera support and operating live event video equipment
  • Proficiency with Panasonic cameras and vMix
  • Experience with Q-SYS systems
  • Familiarity with Behringer/Midas sound boards
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently without excessive direction
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach

  • Experience supporting corporate meetings, executive presentations, or all-hands events
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in live event environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality end-user experience
