In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-visibility projects by providing expert programming and architectural support for audio-visual systems. You will be responsible for ensuring successful outcomes for our customers and end users, with a focus on Crestron equipment and environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in A/V programming and system design, contributing to innovative and reliable solutions.
Job Responsibility
Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers
Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies
Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements
Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems
Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases
Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required
Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans
Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations
Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications
Requirements
This position requires an Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
Willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence Poly (CIP) or already have a current Counterintelligence Poly (CIP)
Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience with Crestron programming and system environments
Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic
Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems
Hands-on experience with network programming
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices
Nice to have
Level 3: 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience
Level 4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience
An Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) is strongly preferred
Experience translating customer requirements into software designs
Knowledge of software systems configuration management
Experience with C# programming
Experience with object orientated programming
Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design)
Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher
Experience working with local and remote teams
Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management
Experience working as a member of a development team
