Job Description

We're looking for an Audience Manager to develop and optimize customer audience strategies across our marketing and personalization initiatives. You'll create, analyze, and refine customer segments to enable targeted marketing and personalized experiences, serving as the bridge between data analytics and marketing execution as we work towards becoming the leader in technology within the travel industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive audience framework that enables effective targeting and personalization across marketing channels, creating audience taxonomy and segmentation models, defining audience criteria and selection rules, documenting audience definitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and maintaining an audience governance framework
  • design, build, and optimize customer segments using data from multiple sources, creating audience segments in CDP/DMP platforms, building lookalike and propensity-based audiences, developing behavioral and intent-based segments, and optimizing audience definitions based on performance
  • analyze audience performance across campaigns and channels to identify improvement opportunities, monitoring campaign performance by audience, analyzing audience overlap and saturation, identifying high-performing characteristics, recommending refinements, and creating performance dashboards
  • collaborate with marketing, CRM, and digital teams to translate audience requirements into effective targeting strategies, while partnering with data science and analytics teams to incorporate advanced modeling and insights into audience development
  • ensure audience data quality, compliance with privacy regulations, and ethical use of customer data, monitoring data quality and completeness, ensuring compliance with privacy requirements, implementing consent-based strategies, and advocating for responsible practices
  • drive innovation in audience strategies by staying current with industry trends, testing new approaches, implementing best practices, piloting innovative solutions, and sharing learnings across the organization while developing documentation, training, and guidelines to enable effective use of audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in audience management or marketing analytics
  • proven experience in audience management, marketing analytics, or CRM that demonstrates your strong understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies
  • experience with audience platforms such as CDP and DMP, along with marketing automation tools, data analysis and visualization techniques, and excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • strong communication skills that enable you to translate complex concepts for different stakeholders, while your understanding of marketing channels and campaign execution ensures your audience strategies align with business objectives
  • knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical data use, ensuring you maintain compliance and advocate for responsible audience practices across all initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with the Media team on the end-to-end audience strategy process, ensuring accurate and efficient audience builds aligned to Media strategy and successful activation, including but not limited to audience sizing, reach/frequency planning, and segment-level performance expectations
  • Serve as the primary MAS point of contact for audience strategy across brand and agency partners, working closely with the Media team to align on campaign needs, taxonomy, audience development timelines, and channel-specific delivery requirements (programmatic, social, display, etc.)
  • Serve as an experienced interpreter of marketing and media requests, translating ambiguous campaign briefs and brand objectives into clear, defined audience strategies
  • Oversee the development and activation of Pronghorn-powered audiences across media, site, and CRM channels, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and model recommendations
  • Partner closely with MAS Data Scientists and the Media team to translate modeling outputs into actionable, campaign-ready audience segments. Advise on match rate optimization, addressability, and scaling trade-offs across activation platforms
  • Manage audience workflows across platforms including Databricks, Adobe Real-Time CDP, AEP, LiveRamp, and other onboarding and activation tools
  • Support the product development team in building, testing, and deploying new media capabilities and platforms. Translate technical capabilities into actionable pilot opportunities. Work with the T&L team to lead development of testing strategies and campaigns to deliver new marketing opportunities and channels
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making in establishing audience best practices, including standards for audience building, scoring, and sizing, to ensure consistent, scalable segmentation logic across brands and channels
