We are looking for a confident, commercially minded Audience Development Lead to help grow and strengthen participation across our events, awards, webinars and thought leadership programmes. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging and building relationships with senior decision-makers across the Middle East and key international markets, including C-suite executives, government representatives, project owners and industry leaders. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring MEED's events and content programmes attract the right people, creating value for our clients, sponsors and audiences. Success comes from understanding business challenges, communicating value and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Job Responsibility
Identify and engage senior business leaders across key industries
Build relationships with C-level executives, government stakeholders and industry influencers
Conduct outreach through phone, email and LinkedIn
Clearly communicate the value of MEED's events, awards and content programmes
Secure participation from high-quality attendees across events, roundtables, webinars and awards
Support guest experience across flagship events, webinars and industry roundtables
Ensure participation aligns with event objectives and client expectations
Maintain accurate records of engagement activity and attendance forecasts
Provide regular progress updates against targets
Identify organisations and projects suitable for award submissions
Encourage participation through relationship-led engagement
Support prospective entrants through the submission process
Help improve representation across industries and categories
Research companies, sectors and decision-makers
Build targeted prospect lists aligned to event objectives
Monitor market developments and identify new engagement opportunities
Continuously improve audience quality and relevance
Manage activity through CRM and project management systems
Maintain organised workflows and accurate reporting
Contribute ideas to improve outreach processes and audience engagement
Work proactively to identify opportunities and overcome challenges
Requirements
