Job Description

As an Auction Pack Conveyancer, you will act as a technical lead within the Auction Pack team, delivering an efficient, high-quality legal service in a fast-paced auction environment. The role involves managing the sign-off queue, handling files at all stages of the conveyancing process (including complex matters), supporting junior team members, and working closely with managers, team leaders and paralegals to meet strict auction deadlines, SLAs and performance targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as technical lead within the Auction Pack team, supporting and developing junior staff
  • Manage the sign-off queue to ensure auction packs are completed accurately and on time
  • Handle conveyancing matters at all stages, including complex and unregistered titles
  • Review title documents and assist with drafting legal documentation
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with clients, agents and third parties
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and AML obligations
  • Meet individual and departmental targets while adhering to SLAs and deadlines
  • Escalate any fraud, AML or complaint-related issues promptly

Requirements

  • Qualified Conveyancer / Fee Earner, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of registered and unregistered property, including freehold, leasehold and land
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Detail-focused, analytical and a proactive problem solver
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Team-focused, self-motivated and target driven, with a positive “can-do” attitude
