We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lincolnshire, Illinois. In this role, you will handle a wide range of legal responsibilities, focusing on landlord-tenant disputes and residential real estate matters. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to manage complex legal issues effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Draft and review legal documents such as leases, termination notices, settlement agreements, violation notices, demand letters, and contract riders
Provide clients with timely and accurate legal advice, addressing inquiries with well-reasoned, thorough opinions
Manage pre-litigation claims and respond to matters involving fair housing and discrimination concerns
Represent clients in legal defense cases related to formal discrimination complaints
Utilize specialized software and tools to efficiently manage case files and documentation
Work independently to prioritize tasks while maintaining collaboration with the team
Ensure all legal work meets the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction
Organize and handle a diverse and demanding workload with thorough attention to detail
Requirements:
Must be a licensed attorney with relevant credentials
2-3 years of experience in landlord-tenant law or related fields
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn specialized software
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle varied tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
