Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join a vibrant and growing law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation cases across diverse areas, including construction, employment, and business disputes. This role requires a strong ability to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

Job Responsibility:

Represent clients in construction, employment, business, and general litigation matters
draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
conduct thorough legal research using tools such as WestLaw to support case strategies
collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions
manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery and eDiscovery processes using platforms like Nextpoint
maintain accurate documentation and case files using systems such as NetDocs and Centerbase
prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions
ensure compliance with billable hour requirements while maintaining high-quality work
provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding legal risks and opportunities
stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practices

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
solid experience in litigation
expertise in construction litigation, employment litigation, and business litigation
familiarity with legal research platforms like WestLaw and document management systems such as NetDocs and Centerbase
experience working with eDiscovery tools like Nextpoint
strong written and verbal communication skills for effective advocacy
ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina
