Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a respected law firm in Brooklyn, New York, specializing in insurance defense and coverage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to litigate diverse cases, including construction accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and more, while growing under the guidance of experienced team members. Job Responsibility:

Litigate general liability cases such as Labor Law, premises liability, and motor vehicle claims
Conduct and defend depositions to gather critical case information
Draft and argue motions in court to support case strategies
Participate in trials, presenting evidence and advocating for clients
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to refine legal strategies and enhance case outcomes
Engage in arbitration, mediation, and negotiation to resolve disputes
Attend team-building events and skill development activities to enhance abilities
Manage case documentation and ensure compliance with legal standards
Provide clear and concise communication to clients regarding case progress and outcomes
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and celebrate wins during team huddles and events

Requirements:

Possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar
Have at least 1 year of experience in insurance defense litigation
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
