Job Responsibility
Manage cases from inception to trial, ensuring all legal matters are handled efficiently
Conduct discovery, including depositions, to gather necessary information for cases
Attend court appearances as needed to represent clients
Draft and review pleadings and other legal documents
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel to maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction
Handle project-based work, especially for first-year attorneys
Utilize case management software and other legal software to manage and track case progress
Manage litigation matters, including civil litigation and employment litigation
Draft and review contracts as part of transactional work
Maintain a focus on client outcomes, ensuring the best possible results for each case

Requirements
Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable state bar
At least 3 years of experience practicing law, with stronger consideration for candidates with 5 or more years in civil litigation
Candidates with 2 years but strong substantive experience (depositions, hearings, handling a case with some autonomy) are encouraged to apply, too
Demonstrated ability to handle litigation matters with a high level of independence
Experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings
Strong working knowledge of discovery processes, including depositions and written discovery
Confident oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently while meeting deadlines and billable hour expectations
