Job Responsibility:
Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related real estate finance documents
Conduct thorough due diligence on complex affordable housing transactions
Review and assess third-party legal documents to ensure compliance and accuracy
Represent the firm in direct communications with clients, public agencies, housing developers, and service providers
Collaborate with colleagues to manage all stages of real estate financing transactions
Provide guidance on low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs and other affordable housing finance initiatives
Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all legal documentation and communications
Support organizational goals by managing multiple projects efficiently and meeting deadlines
Requirements:
Licensed attorney with active bar membership
Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate finance, including affordable housing transactions
Proficiency in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs and related legal frameworks
Strong skills in negotiating contracts and drafting complex legal documents
Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee intricate real estate transactions
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
