Job Responsibility:
Represent clients in civil litigation and workers' compensation cases, ensuring high-quality legal service
Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and provide informed counsel
Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to manage case files effectively within a paperless system
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders
Develop and implement case strategies that align with client objectives and legal standards
Participate in training programs and stay updated on relevant legal developments
Meet reasonable billable requirements and contribute to the firm's success through performance-based initiatives
Maintain membership in good standing with the California State Bar
Utilize strong analytical skills to assess case details and provide strategic solutions
Requirements:
Active membership in the California State Bar
Minimum of two years of experience in civil litigation or workers' compensation law preferred
Proficiency in drafting motions and other legal documents
Strong research and writing abilities to support case preparation
Excellent analytical skills for evaluating legal issues and formulating strategies
Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
