Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an Attorney to join a national firm, based in Chicago, Illinois. You will provide legal expertise in insurance coverage and insurance defense, handling case management, drafting motions, defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings. You will maintain client relationships and conduct detailed legal research to support cases.

Job Responsibility:

Manage overall case progression, ensuring efficient and effective handling of legal matters
draft legal documents and motions, ensuring their accuracy and comprehensiveness
handle discovery requests, meticulously reviewing and responding to each request
defend depositions, using legal expertise to protect the interests of the client
participate in court proceedings, representing the firm and its clients in various legal matters
maintain strong relationships with the firm's existing client base, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed
conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case development
present findings and legal strategies in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Attorney
experience in drafting coverage opinions and in litigating insurance coverage and bad faith cases
excellent client communication skills
must hold a valid license to practice law
must be able to handle multiple cases simultaneously
excellent research and analytical skills
ability to work independently as well as part of a team
strong written and verbal communication skills
demonstrable commitment to ethical values and client confidentiality
