We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a prestigious law firm in Troy, Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, including products liability and commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling depositions, courtroom proceedings, and managing sophisticated legal matters.
Job Responsibility:
Represent clients in complex litigation cases, focusing on products liability and commercial disputes
Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for legal proceedings
Draft and file legal briefs, motions, and other case-related documentation
Perform legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for client challenges
Manage case files using case management software to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Handle courtroom appearances, presenting arguments and advocating for clients
Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and case developments
Review and analyze claims, complaints, and evidence to build strong cases
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to maintain expertise in litigation practices
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with exposure to products liability cases
Strong academic background with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in legal research tools, including LexisNexis, and case management software
Excellent written and oral communication skills for drafting briefs and presenting arguments
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines
Experience handling depositions and courtroom appearances
Knowledge of civil litigation processes and commercial litigation principles
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and taking ownership of client matters
