We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our legal team in Pleasanton, California. In this role, you will gain expertise in Special Education Law through comprehensive training and mentorship, while actively contributing to case handling and legal processes. Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee legal cases, including document review, research, and client consultations
Draft legal memos, motions, and responses to complaints with precision and attention to detail
Represent clients in mediations, settlement negotiations, and hearings
Handle discovery processes and develop case strategies to support successful outcomes
Prosecute cases through appeals while adhering to legal standards and practices
Contribute to the firm’s publications and create informative content for legal audiences
Deliver workshops and presentations to share legal insights and expertise
Attend conferences and networking events to build meaningful relationships and represent the firm
Requirements:
Licensed attorney with a minimum of three years of relevant legal experience
Strong background in civil litigation, including case preparation and courtroom representation
Proven ability to draft and file motions, complaints, and legal briefs effectively
Expertise in discovery procedures and evidence gathering
Exceptional research and analytical skills to support case development
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
