Attorney

• Manage creditors' rights litigation and related legal matters, ensuring cases progress effectively
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and other legal correspondence
• Represent clients in court proceedings and assist in trial preparation
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and maintain knowledge of relevant statutes and case law
• Review case files and collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective legal strategies
• Maintain and update case management systems, ensuring the accuracy of all legal documentation
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Work closely with legal staff to meet deadlines and adhere to court requirements
• Lead and provide support to a small legal team, ensuring smooth operations

• Active California Bar license is required
• 1 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation or creditors' rights
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• familiarity with legal technology systems such as Cogent is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally for court appearances and client meetings
