Our client, a national law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in mass torts. This opportunity offers meaningful involvement in sophisticated disputes, close collaboration with experienced legal professionals, and regular exposure to client-facing work. The role is well suited for an attorney who thrives in a demanding setting and is prepared to take ownership of case strategy, advocacy, and day-to-day litigation responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the management and litigation of mass tort & asbestos cases
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
Communicate directly with clients and contribute to case strategy
Manage multiple active matters with increasing independence
Requirements:
1 to 4 years of experience as an attorney in mass torts
Experience with asbestos is a plus
Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
Admission to Massachusetts bar is required
Rhode Island and/or Connecticut bar admission is a plus
Nice to have:
Experience with asbestos is a plus
Rhode Island and/or Connecticut bar admission is a plus
