Attorney

• Review collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), internal policies, and arbitration decisions
• research labor-related grievances and contractual claims
• draft written materials such as case summaries and internal memoranda, employer position statements, witness outlines and correspondence
• participate in pre-arbitration grievance conferences as an employer representative or hearing officer
• draft grievance conference decisions and supporting documentation
• assist with appeals involving employment terminations or performance ratings
• prepare reports, recommendations, and submission materials
• represent the client in arbitration hearings
• conduct legal research related to labor and administrative matters
• use Zoom and Microsoft Teams to participate in hearings and meetings
• use Adobe Acrobat to organize exhibits and hearing documents

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of legal experience preferred
• experience with labor relations, collective bargaining, administrative proceedings, or similar legal work strongly preferred
• familiarity with teacher negotiations, employee discipline, or dispute resolution is a plus
• admission to any US license jurisdiction is required
• strong writing, research, and organizational skills
• ability to work independently while following defined processes and supervision
