Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our construction litigation team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role provides a unique opportunity to support commercial construction companies through legal counsel while working alongside an experienced and detail-oriented group. The position combines in-office collaboration with some remote flexibility and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Handle commercial litigation cases, including dispute resolution and motions practice
Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality legal documents
Represent clients during court appearances and other legal proceedings
Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys to develop case strategies
Provide legal counsel to clients within the commercial construction industry
Stay informed about construction law principles to enhance expertise
Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of case management
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure clarity and understanding
Manage billable hour requirements while maintaining high-quality work standards

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience welcomed
Admission to the Maryland Bar is mandatory
Strong research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Familiarity with construction law or a willingness to learn
High level of motivation and attention to detail
Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
