Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage business and real estate litigation cases from initiation through trial, ensuring thorough preparation and execution
Handle transactional matters such as drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and operating agreements for clients
Provide strategic advice to business owners and investors on compliance, transactions, and potential disputes
Mentor and guide attorneys at the start of their careers and support staff to foster growth within the firm
Represent clients during court appearances and ensure effective advocacy
Conduct and manage discovery processes, including depositions, pleadings, and motion practices
Maintain a target of 1,450 billable hours annually while delivering high-quality legal services
Build strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering personalized solutions
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in California
Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of business and real estate litigation and transactional exposure
Strong background in transactional law, including drafting and negotiating legal documents, a strong plus but the litigation experience is a must-have
