Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our dynamic personal injury practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal drafting and advocacy, with the ability to craft compelling pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement demands. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful cases while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Draft detailed legal documents such as complaints, motions for summary judgment, discovery motions, and briefs
Prepare persuasive settlement demand packages to effectively represent client interests
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case arguments and strategies
Develop case approaches with a focus on presenting claims through written advocacy
Review and interpret medical records, expert reports, and other evidence to strengthen case positions
Compose internal memoranda and client correspondence to ensure clear communication
Collaborate with trial attorneys to prepare court submissions and other written materials
Stay updated on relevant statutes, case law, and procedural rules impacting personal injury cases
Edit and review legal documents prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and quality

Requirements:

Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
Minimum of one year of experience in personal injury law
Exceptional legal writing skills with demonstrated success in drafting effective legal documents
Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
Familiarity with Nevada court rules and procedures
Experience using case management software to efficiently handle cases
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
