Job Responsibility:
Handle cases related to general litigation, labor and employment law, and school law with a high level of professionalism
Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advocacy
Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal forums as required
Manage discovery processes, including document review and preparation, depositions, and interrogatories
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective case strategies and solutions
Engage with opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders to advance case objectives
Maintain organized records and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various matters within the firm's practice areas
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure informed counsel
Requirements:
Licensed attorney with active admission to the bar in New York
About 2-7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on general litigation, labor and employment law, or school law
Proficient in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Strong research and analytical skills to support case preparation and strategy development
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective advocacy and client interactions
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Familiarity with discovery processes, including document review and depositions
