Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is looking for an experienced Attorney specializing in Trusts and Estates to join our client's team in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This role involves providing expert legal counsel to clients on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust administration. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in tax-efficient estate planning and a proven ability to manage complex legal matters.

Job Responsibility

  • Offer strategic advice to clients on estate planning, including wills, trusts, and charitable giving
  • Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney tailored to client needs
  • Guide fiduciaries through trust administration and probate processes while ensuring legal compliance
  • Analyze and address federal and state tax issues related to estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfers
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants to develop holistic wealth management plans
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings and resolve contested estate matters
  • Stay informed on evolving tax laws and estate planning regulations to provide updated legal strategies

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Bar license
  • At least 8 years of experience in trusts and estates law
  • Comprehensive understanding of estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax laws
  • Exceptional drafting and analytical skills for complex legal documents
  • Proven ability to manage intricate client relationships and deliver tailored solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively
