We are looking for an experienced Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our legal team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will handle complex legal cases, draft critical documents, and conduct thorough research to craft compelling arguments. The position offers autonomy and flexibility with a Billables expectation of 1200 hours annually, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic and independent work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage legal cases from initiation to resolution, including trials and settlements
  • Draft and refine pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of statutes, case law, and regulations to build strong legal strategies
  • Review discovery materials and summarize findings to support case preparation
  • Stay informed about legal developments and rulings that impact ongoing and future cases
  • Prepare client-focused deliverables, such as demand letters and settlement packages
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable outcomes for clients

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of proven experience in Insurance Defense
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing responsibilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of current legal trends and updates
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership
  • Proficiency in civil litigation, drafting motions, briefing, and discovery processes
