Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our client's boutique team in Silver Spring, Maryland. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex cases while contributing to a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.

Job Responsibility:

Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and support matters
Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather and analyze relevant case information
Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding family law issues and potential outcomes
Advocate for clients during negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies tailored to each case
Stay informed about changes in family law regulations and precedents to ensure compliance
Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of client service
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development

Requirements:

Active license to practice law within the state of Maryland
Minimum of 1 year of experience specializing in family law
Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures
Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents effectively
Familiarity with discovery processes and techniques
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities
