Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and providing legal guidance to the management team. You will work closely with other in-house attorneys to manage litigation matters and maintain the agency's reputation.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee legal matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Provide legal representation for the agency in legal proceedings, regulatory matters, and in resolving legal issues
Advance legal collection files by reviewing, editing, and filing legal pleadings
Attend hearings and trials as necessary
Provide sound legal advice to the management team
Utilize skills in case management software, document management, briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, collections, and assuring compliance
Handle legal risks professionally

Requirements:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Licensed Attorney in good standing with the state bar
Proficiency in Case Management Software
Strong skills in Document Management
Experience in Briefing
Expertise in Civil Litigation
Ability to handle Claim Administration
Experience in Collections
Ability to Assure Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Proficiency in Litigation
Specialization in Civil Litigation
Knowledge of Legal Risk
Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
Understanding of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act
Ability to prepare and file Legal Pleadings in court
