Robert Half is seeking a Temporary Contracts Associate on behalf of a global, remote-first AdTech company. This role will support the company’s commercial legal team during a high-volume period and is expected to last approximately three months, with the potential for extension. The position involves close collaboration with international stakeholders, with a primary focus on EMEA-based commercial matters and counterparties.
Job Responsibility
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with a focus on insertion orders (IOs) incorporating IAB standard terms
Manage and respond to contract redlines from EMEA-based customers, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk tolerance
Review and advise on Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and GDPR-related provisions
Support cross-border commercial transactions and provide guidance on international contracting considerations
Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales and operations, to facilitate efficient deal execution
Deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Active bar admission required in FL, GA, MA, PA, NJ, or NY
candidates must also be currently residing in one of these states
Approximately 5+ years of experience handling commercial contracts (law firm training strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of GDPR fundamentals
advanced data privacy experience is a plus
Experience with EMEA counterparties and cross-border commercial agreements strongly preferred
Familiarity with AdTech, digital advertising, or media industry agreements preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of contracts in a remote environment
