Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal in our team, focusing on plaintiff advocacy within the realm of catastrophic personal injury cases, product liability, and medical malpractice. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defending depositions, engaging in motion practice, and conducting trial work. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle a variety of cases and work with different case management software.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advocate for plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, product liability, and medical malpractice cases
  • Leverage 3M and Adobe Acrobat to manage cases and documents effectively
  • Conduct thorough research and prepare briefings for various cases
  • Defend clients during depositions, ensuring their interests are well represented
  • Engage in motion practice, drafting and submitting necessary legal motions
  • Handle claim administration and complaint resolution, maintaining an excellent level of customer service
  • Utilize case management software to keep track of all case details and updates
  • Participate in trial work, providing robust representation for our clients
  • Manage a range of cases, including mass tort cases such as those involving Johnson and Johnson
  • Ensure all customer credit applications and records are processed and maintained accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Entry-level position, no prior experience required
  • Proficiency in using 3M
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Case Management Software
  • Knowledge of Conveyancer is a plus
  • Competence in Document Management
  • Ability to handle Briefings
  • Experience in Civil Litigation
