We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to provide employment litigation support for a long-term contract opportunity. This fully remote role is expected to be 20 hours per week and is ideal for a licensed attorney who can work independently while collaborating effectively with legal teams. The position focuses on employment-related disputes and requires strong written advocacy, discovery management, and readiness to assist with trial preparation as matters progress.
Job Responsibility:
Handle substantive employment litigation assignments, including drafting motions, responses, and other court filings
Support case development by preparing persuasive briefs and organizing legal arguments for law and motion practice
Manage discovery activities such as reviewing requests, preparing responses, and coordinating document production
Contribute to trial readiness by assisting with witness preparation, exhibit organization, and related pre-trial tasks when needed
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and legal counterparts to keep matters moving efficiently
Provide ongoing legal support across employment-related disputes while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and sound judgment
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in California and in good standing
Demonstrated background in employment litigation, with the ability to manage substantive casework independently
Hands-on experience with civil litigation procedures and court-related documentation
Strong skill in drafting motions, briefs, and other written advocacy materials
Working knowledge of discovery strategy, responses, and document review processes
Effective verbal and written communication skills suited to a remote legal support environment
Availability to provide 20 hours per week on a long-term contract basis
