Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support trial-related litigation matters for a professional services organization in Miami, Florida. This Long-term Contract position will focus on hands-on case support, including courtroom readiness, legal drafting, and management of discovery activities. The ideal candidate brings strong civil litigation knowledge and can contribute effectively throughout the trial process in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide direct legal support for active litigation matters with a primary emphasis on trial execution and case strategy
  • Prepare motions, briefs, and other court filings with careful attention to legal accuracy and deadlines
  • Manage discovery tasks by reviewing materials, organizing evidence, and coordinating document production
  • Assist in trial preparation by developing exhibits, summarizing case facts, and helping counsel get courtroom-ready
  • Attend trial proceedings and offer on-site support during hearings, witness preparation, and related litigation activities
  • Analyze case developments and contribute to legal arguments, research efforts, and pre-trial planning

Requirements

  • Active Florida license to practice law in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters
  • Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Hands-on experience with discovery processes, including document review and case preparation
  • Prior involvement in trial preparation and attendance during court proceedings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a litigation-focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective legal advocacy and case coordination
