Job Responsibility

  • Prepare complaints, motions, briefs, and written discovery to support active litigation matters.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and other case proceedings while helping move files forward efficiently.
  • Assist with trial readiness by organizing evidence, coordinating witnesses, and contributing to litigation strategy.
  • Review medical documentation and collaborate with expert witnesses to strengthen case analysis and damages presentation.
  • Partner with senior attorneys on plaintiff-side matters involving personal injury, medical negligence, and wrongful death claims.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the legal process, providing updates and gathering information needed for case development.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation or a closely related legal practice area
  • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail in managing deadlines and case materials
  • Interest in plaintiff litigation, client advocacy, and long-term growth as a trial attorney
