This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of legal matters, including pre-litigation and litigation processes, while also engaging in public-facing content creation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in personal injury law, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage cases independently.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct client intake consultations and follow-up calls to evaluate case viability and build strong relationships
Manage pre-litigation tasks, including reviewing demands, drafting case evaluations, and communicating with adjusters and medical providers
Draft and revise legal documents such as complaints, motions, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances, contributing to litigation strategy and trial preparation
Assist in trial processes by preparing exhibits, witness outlines, and jury instructions, with potential roles as first or second chair
Audit case files to ensure organization, compliance, and alignment with legal strategies
Represent the firm in public-facing activities, including podcasts, video content, and community engagement initiatives
Collaborate with the marketing team to create legal content and maintain a high-quality presence on firm-managed social media
Supervise and mentor paralegals or support staff as needed to ensure efficient case management
Leverage case management systems like Filevine to streamline legal operations
Requirements:
Active attorney license and at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law
Strong knowledge of Colorado tort law and civil procedures
Proven experience in litigation and trial work, with at least one trial completed
Excellent legal writing and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to independently manage a robust caseload and meet deadlines
Comfort with public speaking and on-camera appearances for marketing purposes
Familiarity with case management software, such as Filevine
Nice to have:
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required
