Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is remote. and requires an individual who is licensed to practice law in California. This is a Part-time opportunity for about (10 per week) The hours are flexible - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be capable of handling complex legal tasks with precision and efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including strategy development and case management
  • Draft and review legal motions, briefs, and other court documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery processes, including depositions, document reviews, and interrogatories
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals to develop effective legal arguments and case strategies
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as needed
  • Analyze legal issues and provide well-reasoned advice to ensure client interests are protected
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records related to ongoing cases
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to strengthen case outcomes
  • Ensure deadlines are met and legal processes are followed with attention to detail

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction
  • Proven expertise in civil litigation, including case management and courtroom representation
  • Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Experience conducting discovery processes and managing related tasks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess legal issues effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all legal matters
  • Licensed to practice law in California
