Job Description:

The Attendant-Shipping & Receiving role involves receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, staging merchandise, verifying inventory, and ensuring the safekeeping of packages. The role requires physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects, as well as maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries
  • Stage merchandise by department
  • Verify and track received inventory
  • Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
  • Secure the receiving room and its contents
  • Ship all out-going mail and packages
  • Communicate with guests regarding received packages
  • Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Address guests' service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
