Job Responsibility:

  • Take room service orders over the phone
  • Answer questions on menu selections and communicate relevant information to the kitchen staff
  • Place and log call back for room service order
  • Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery
  • Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order
  • Complete all closing reports, including MICROS reports
  • Process all payment methods
  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc
  • Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High proficiency in English and Italian
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
