Job Description

We are working with a company that are globally recognised in what they do and are helping millions of people around the world live a better life. Due to continued growth in their Digital Workforce team, they are looking to add an Atlassian Operations Engineer to help with ongoing support and projects. My client has a Atlassian Cloud estate of approximately 6,000 licensed users spanning Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Assets, and related products. The team is simultaneously executing two significant programs inside a single planning interval: the JSM go-live as the new enterprise ITSM platform, and an enterprise license renewal – alongside support to a strategic confidential program.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the Atlassian access provisioning ticket queue (currently approximately 555 tickets per quarter)
  • User lifecycle across Jira, Confluence, JSM, Assets – joiner, mover, leaver operations
  • Group membership management and permission troubleshooting
  • Support SCIM and Okta-Atlassian integration operations – troubleshoot provisioning failures, reconcile mismatches
  • Customer and internal user access for Jira Service Management portals
  • Hands-on support for the JSM go-live as the new enterprise ITSM platform

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years Atlassian Cloud administration across Jira, Confluence, and JSM
  • Jira project configuration at production scale – workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens
  • Confluence administration – spaces, permissions, templates
  • Jira Service Management administration – request types, queues, portals, SLA management platform, or greenfield
  • User and group lifecycle operations at scale (thousands of users)
  • Working knowledge of SCIM provisioning, ideally with Okta as the identity provider
