The Athletics Ticketing & Group Sales Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to ticket holders, faculty and staff, students, and prospective fans of Brown University Athletics. In a fast-paced environment, this position is responsible for leading all group sales efforts while building and maintaining strong relationships within the local community. The coordinator supports in-person, phone, and email ticket sales and assists with game day ticket operations to ensure a smooth, positive fan experience.
Job Responsibility:
Plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to ticket holders, faculty and staff, students, and prospective fans of Brown University Athletics
Responsible for leading all group sales efforts while building and maintaining strong relationships within the local community
Supports in-person, phone, and email ticket sales
Assists with game day ticket operations to ensure a smooth, positive fan experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required
One to three years of experience in ticketing, sales, customer service, athletics, event operations or other related fields
Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing
Sales aptitude with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with ticketing systems, CRM tools, and standard office software
Knowledge of or ability to learn NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations

the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations
and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties
Employees in coaching positions must receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division)
