Job Description

Aquatics GB is seeking an Athlete Representative to join the Aquatics GB Board. The purpose of this role is to make an effective contribution to the Aquatics GB Board, to ensure that they represent the athletes, drive continuous improvement, a sustainable performance culture and provide strategic leadership to the delivery of the corporate plan.

Job Responsibility

  • Represent the athletes on the Aquatics GB Board
  • Drive continuous improvement and a sustainable performance culture
  • Provide strategic leadership to the delivery of the corporate plan
  • Provide a formal mechanism for ensuring athlete views on key matters are heard at Board level

Requirements

  • Evidence of your commitment to fulfilling the objects and representing the values of Aquatics GB
  • Evidence of skills and competencies required for the fulfilment of the responsibilities of the Role
  • Must be a world class athlete who has been part of an Aquatics GB (GBR) squad/team
  • Not have served a ban from any sport for any reason
